This Privacy Policy explains how LEGACIQ handles personal information through its website, LEGACIQ.com, and its temporary Hostinger website address, including inquiries, editorial submissions and partnership requests. For privacy questions or requests, contact maxine@legaciq.com.
Information you provide
We collect information you choose to submit, which may include your name, email address, phone number, company or organization, inquiry type, message, and links to your work. The Contact Us form requires your name, email address and phone number. Please do not include passwords, payment card details, government identifiers or other sensitive information in a message.
How we use information
We use submitted information to respond to inquiries, evaluate editorial or collaboration requests, communicate with you, maintain records of correspondence, and protect the website from spam and misuse. Sending an inquiry does not by itself subscribe you to a marketing newsletter. If you separately subscribe, you may unsubscribe using the instructions in those messages.
Submission storage and email
Contact form submissions are stored in our WordPress database as a backup to email notifications. Form records may include technical metadata such as an IP address, browser information, submission date and the page used. Copies of correspondence may also be held in our email system. Our website is hosted by Hostinger, and our domain email is hosted through Google. Website administrators and people handling inquiries may access records as needed for those tasks.
Service providers and disclosures
We use service providers for website hosting, email delivery, maintenance and security. These providers process information as needed to supply their services. We may also disclose information when required by law, to respond to valid legal requests, or to protect rights and website security. A private inquiry is not automatically published as an article or feature; publication arrangements are handled separately.
Cookies, analytics and spam protection
WordPress and enabled website features may use cookies or similar technology for login, security, preferences and shopping-cart functions. You can manage cookies through your browser, although disabling them may affect some features. Third-party links and embedded services may have their own privacy practices.
Cloudflare Turnstile and Google Analytics/Google Tag Manager have not yet been configured for the Contact Us form as of the date above. This notice will be reviewed when those services are enabled. Contact form names, email addresses, phone numbers and message contents are not included in the form’s analytics success event.
Retention and security
We retain information for as long as reasonably necessary for the purpose it was collected, including handling ongoing correspondence, maintaining appropriate business records and meeting applicable legal obligations. You may ask us to delete your inquiry. Some records may need to be retained for legal or operational reasons, and copies may remain in backups until those backups expire. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure.
Your choices and privacy requests
You may ask to access, correct or delete information you have provided by emailing maxine@legaciq.com. Depending on your location and applicable law, you may have additional rights, including restricting or objecting to certain processing, withdrawing consent, requesting portability, or contacting a privacy regulator. We may need to verify your identity before responding.
International processing
Our service providers may process information in countries other than the country where you live. Privacy laws can differ between countries. Contact us if you have questions about the handling of your information.
Children and submissions
The contact form is intended for adults. A parent or guardian should contact us on behalf of a child. If you believe a child has provided personal information without appropriate permission, please contact us so we can review and address it.
External links and changes
This policy covers LEGACIQ’s handling of information, not the practices of independently operated websites linked from our pages. We may update this policy as the website and services change. The date above identifies the most recent revision.
